What you’ll learn

This starter course walks you through the R interface, core syntax, and the basic data structures you need to do real work in R. You will write, run, and save scripts from inside a hosted RStudio session — no installation required.

• Navigate RStudio with confidence: console, script editor, environment, and plots.
• Understand the core data types in R: vectors, data frames, factors, and lists.
• Import simple datasets and run your first exploratory summaries.
• Write basic reusable scripts instead of working only in the console.
